Insulated wires for overhead power lines are intended for use in overhead power lines, networks and branches from them for voltage 0,6; 1; 10; 15; 20; 35 kV with a frequency of 50 Hz. Wires have the following advantages over non-insulated analogues: they provide a higher level of electrical safety due to the fact that there is no direct contact with the conductive core; facilitate the installation process, simplify maintenance and reduce operating costs; reduce the risk of line breaks under the influence of natural phenomena (snow sticking, rain, wind), which increases their reliability. SIP wires provide the possibility of maintenance of power lines under voltage.
